large dropdown - a comma delimited entry

Imagine having a dropdown of all world states or languages! In present way it is almost crazy to add them manually. I'm proposing adding an text area where we can use a comma delimited text as an dropdown entry. Even better we could copy paste such data in text-area.

        That could be solved with this wish: "Edit data directly in a table list" which has already started.
        But ya it is annoying...

        I'm wondering if this two guys dealing with schools are the same person :-) . Anyways, I too think that should be a better way to enter a large number of dropdown items.
