I would like to see a 'Template Generator' which can edit existing templates, but also to create new (custom) templates within the Fabrik framework.
This would give this application a high value - specially for end users.

It really creates problems for custom templates, given the spacing issues that arise when no greyed out fields are displayed, just the labels...looks for professional with the fields, so you see the form...a WYSWYG form, so to speak. ;)

I'm thinking to something like this: I have more tables coming from the same or different database, even databases from different connections; I want to get a web page displaing data from an advanced search like system where I may select any field from any table belonging to any databases as above to produce data to display in a webpage.

With the ability to edit a record open to a wide audience, it would be nice to be able to recover from either a malicious edit, or simply an incorrect edit, by reverting to a prior version of the table row.

If you think about the way a Wiki works, the past versions of the definition are available so that changes can be rolled back to any prior version of the record.

This may need to be a privileged function as well - available only to a specific user level.

It is very necessary to hidde a field. Example: hide and clear. Because if you just hide the field and there was a value, this value will be saved in the tabel.

ok so I've created a table that link to another child table (related data link) now let say I then create/edit a couple of records on this child table, then how can I get back to the parent table listing(beside making like 20 clicks on the back button)?

It will be very interesting to be able to add a link to the parent table of a related data table.

Fabrik is really great, but a little bit slow when opening a new form or a table. Could be interesting to have a better response time

Imagine having a dropdown of all world states or languages! In present way it is almost crazy to add them manually. I'm proposing adding an text area where we can use a comma delimited text as an dropdown entry. Even better we could copy paste such data in text-area.

There is a possibilty to enable a pdf icon but not a printer button. I would appreciate that option very much. Thank you.

If more then one user are on the same record, they can both edit this record. Think it's very important that as someone is editing a record, the other person should get a warning and not be able to open the record for editing.

An authorize.net payment processor for fabrik would be allow fabrik to become much more functional in terms of taking payments and becoming an application builder for hundreds of more uses.

In Google Map Element Plugin I feel handicapped for not being able to use the below features

Allow calendar visualization plugin to integrate ical calendars data (so as to show some generic data as holidays for example).

I don't know about how ical works (and its data format) but this might be not too hard to code.
